“It all started in the ring, when I was boxing. For fights, respecting the weight classes was essential, and eating outside became a real challenge. At the time, I made do with protein bars, but they were often unsatisfactory: not very nutritious, full of additives, and rarely tasty.

But I'm from Liège. And in Liège, we have the best waffles in the world!

So I asked myself: why not create a waffle that meets my needs? A nourishing, digestible waffle with protein, quality fats, less sugar, and unique flavors.

Little by little, and after trying many recipes, I rediscovered the Liège waffle and transformed it into a snack that truly met my expectations… That's how Lehios was born.” - Paolo
